With soapstone the weight of the stove increases, so does its design and functionality. Soapstone can retain and accumulate intense amounts of heat from the stove’s interior and then emanate that heat slowly and evenly. It takes soapstone eight times as long to emanate heat as it does to absorb it. Soapstone is a unique creation of nature and ideal for stoves. In addition, soapstone is very decorative making it an inevitable choice for RAIS stoves. Covered in soapstone on both sides, the top and in the baking compartment, RAIS Bando effectively retains heat and emits it even after the last embers are ash. In addition, the natural grey soapstone offers an original play of colour and makes the stove come alive. RAIS Bondo can be delivered with a turntable and the RAIS air-supply system.
