The subtle and restrained design of the Harrie Leenders Fuga M wood stove made this fireplace both popular and innovative at the same time. Many customers fell for the design of the Fuga M - but could it be just a bit smaller? So, here it is, by popular request: The Harrie Leenders Fuga S wood stove.

Making a smaller model is more than simply downscaling. For example, the hearth, controls, and the pipe come in set sizes. With this in mind designer Jos Muller had to give the Fuga S stove its own scale while preserving the typical Fuga wood stove characteristics.

All the detail is there in this downscaled version: the frontal slots, the wide hearth, the heat fins on the side, the convection pipes above, and the casing in a choice of stainless steel, grey or black. But this stove still retains its own personality. Naturally, the Fuga S wood stove also swivels! This way you can see the fire from wherever you are.

The Harrie Leenders Fuga S wood stove is a DEFRA approved stove. DEFRA is the UK government's Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and in relation to wood stoves and multifuel stoves is concerned with smoke emissions in accordance with the Clean Air Act 1993. A DEFRA approved stove is a wood stove approved for the burning of wood in smoke controlled areas.
