What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you register with us, make an enquiry or place an order for products or services. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions. Website usage information is collected by using cookies.

How will we use the information about you?

  • We collect information about you to process your order or to action your enquiry and if you agree, to contact you by post, email or telephone.
  • We may use your information, with your agreement to arrange a home visit and should you have a stove installed by us, we would use your information to allow our fitters to find you on installation day.
  • We may need to share your address with our in house delivery drivers or third parties such as external delivery, scaffolding or skip hire companies for the purposes of locating your property in order for us to carry out the work you have asked us to do.
  • We may also use your information to gain a certificate of compliance for your installation from HETAS or Gas safe. This documentation is a regulatory requirement to demonstrate that the installation complies with the relevant building regulations, and is used to record your installation. This self-certification takes the place of a Local authority building process and can be required to validate your home insurance and will be required in any home selling process.
  • We will keep your information to be able to contact you in the event of warranty issues or safety recall.
  • We may need to take your credit/debit details at your request in order to take payment for the services we have provided. We DO NOT store this information. Your card details will be processed as soon as possible and then destroyed by shredding or burning as per our privacy policy.
  • We may use your information to contact you to let you know about our service and sweep facilities and to remind you when your service is due. 

How long will we store your information?

We will store your information for different periods of time depending on the purpose that we have it.

For example, we will store information about an installation or purchase of a stove or technical components for 15- 20 years for warranty purposes and for hetas/gas safe compliance, but we will only store enquiry information for 1 year unless you have given us consent to store your details for marketing purposes.

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or post. We my use this information to customize and improve our website and services.

We do not share your information with any other companies for marketing purposes.
