La Rochère Versailles large wine glass

The La Rochère Versailles large wine glass combines generous proportions with distinctive French decoration. Made from clear pressed glass, its rounded bowl is embellished with raised baroque scrolls, flowers and scallop-shell motifs inspired by the Palace of Versailles.

The glass has a substantial 40cl capacity, making it suitable for serving red or white wine, water, cocktails and other drinks. Its button stem creates a comfortable transition between the foot and bowl while adding to its traditional French appearance.

Versatile 40cl stemmed glass

La Rochère’s UK range describes this piece as a large stemmed wine glass, while the main French collection also presents it as a water or tasting glass. Its generous capacity makes it a versatile choice for dining and entertaining rather than limiting it to one particular drink.

The rounded bowl provides plenty of space for wine and mixed drinks, while the stable foot and substantial pressed-glass construction make it suitable for regular use.

Inspired by Versailles

The Versailles collection takes its decorative cues from the palace’s baroque interiors, sculpted panels and formal gardens. Raised motifs wrap around the bowl, catching the light and creating an attractive tactile surface.

Its clear finish allows it to coordinate with a wide range of tableware. Pair the glass with matching Versailles wine glasses, footed tumblers, long-drink glasses and mugs to create a consistent table setting.

Made in France

La Rochère manufactures this glass in France using pressed-glass production techniques. It carries Origine France Garantie certification, confirming its French manufacture.

The glass is dishwasher safe. Avoid exposing it to sudden or excessive changes in temperature, as thermal shock may damage the material.
